Langar Project

The Pothohar Association partnered with London’s Community Kitchen, Central Gurdwara Khalsa Jatha and One Kind Act to provide meals to those struggling with food poverty. With your support we helped to provide those in need Langer and other essentials.

On Vaisakhi, 13 April 2021 we prepared hot food which was distributed by Nishkam SWAT in Central London.

Supporting Harrow Vaccination Centre

The Pothohar Association regularly supplied hot meals for the volunteers at Harrow Vaccination Centre during 2021.

The Pothohar Association UK was founded in 1970.
It aims to:

  • Promote understanding of people with origins in the Pothohar Region who were exiled during the Partition of India
  • Preserve the history and heritage of Pothohar in Great Britain and beyond.
  • Foster intra-community and inter-generational relationships.
  • Facilitate Sewa (selfless service) including direct contribution and collaboration with charities and other community organisations.
