We welcome new members. Members will have priority booking for all our events and will be added to our email mailing list to receive relevant news and information. Life membership is open to persons who have origins in the Pothohar region. Associate membership is open to all. One off fee for Life/Associate Membership is £25 per person (£50 for a couple). We will send you payment details by email.

The Pothohar Association UK was founded in 1970.
It aims to:

  • Promote understanding of people with origins in the Pothohar Region who were exiled during the Partition of India
  • Preserve the history and heritage of Pothohar in Great Britain and beyond.
  • Foster intra-community and inter-generational relationships.
  • Facilitate Sewa (selfless service) including direct contribution and collaboration with charities and other community organisations.
