The third annual Pothohar Association Vaisakhi Cup Golf Tournament took place on Friday 29 May 2026 at Stanmore Golf Club.

A great day of golf was had by the 90 players and several guests who enjoyed a three course lunch and a prize raffle.

Over £4,000 was raised for Mount Vernon Cancer Centre.

The Pothohar Association UK was founded in 1970.
It aims to:

Promote understanding of people with origins in the Pothohar Region who were exiled during the Partition of India
Preserve the history and heritage of Pothohar in Great Britain and beyond.
Foster intra-community and inter-generational relationships.
Facilitate Sewa (selfless service) including direct contribution and collaboration with charities and other community organisations.
