The Pothohar Association UK strives to enhance the cultural heritage of like-minded migrants predominantly from the Pothohar region of West Punjab (now in Pakistan). With a membership of over 1500 this proactive association has organised many events ranging from charity dinners; an annual lecture; health awareness days; and family sports events. The association was founded in 1970 to help build the lives of new migrants when they arrived in the UK from India, East Africa and other countries.
