Congratulations to Teghvir Singh Gujral on winning the Vaisakhi Cup Golf Tournament 2025.
The sun shone brightly over Stanmore Golf Club on Friday 30 May 2025, as the Pothohar Association UK hosted the 2nd Annual Vaisakhi Cup Golf Tournament—a vibrant celebration of sport, community, and culture.
The day teed off in style with a warm welcome from Club Captain Paul Harris, Club Chairman Vinod Pankania, and long-standing club member Desraj Dahele, setting the tone for a friendly yet competitive day on the course. An impressive 94 players took part in the tournament, showcasing their golfing skills across Stanmore’s beautifully maintained fairways and greens.
Meanwhile, over 50 lunch guests joined the festivities at the clubhouse, enjoying a delightful afternoon filled with entertainment and camaraderie. Guests were treated to a special singing performance by Tanu Banaik and Manpreet Ahuja, also known as The Singing Chef, who brought music and joy to the occasion. A light-hearted quiz added a touch of friendly competition indoors, while a raffle draw with a wide array of prizes kept the excitement going.
